We all like to think when we go before the Lord in prayer that God will answer and then we say amen. However, if we don't KNOW the Lord we can never know and believe that He is going to answer. Are we to religious for our own good? Powerful prayer only happens when we are broken and humbled before God. We sometimes are so Busy doing the work of the Kingdom we forget WHO we are doing it for. I know from personal experience that when I get overwhelmed with the work of God that my relationship with Him suffers. I feel like I'm talking to the wall instead of my Lord. Friends..........slow down. Listen. Look for where God is moving and then join Him instead of trying to force Him into your little box. He has so much for you and He is trying to get you to open your heart up to Him. Powerful prayer takes only one thing......belief. As Smith Wigglesworth, a man of powerful prayer, use to say, 'Only Believe'. God will take care of the rest.
