ON YOUR KNEES AND IN THE WORD...... THESE ARE THE KEYS TO SPIRITUAL GROWTH!

I am asked often, 'How does a person grow and know God's will'. Are we willing to spend time learning to be like Jesus? Jesus knew He had to spend time with the Father and by His ministry we know he understood the Word of God. How is it then that we think we are so much more wiser that we don't need to do as He did? Paul said to pray without stopping. The bible says to consider everyday holy. Oh but Rev. Jerry I am so busy. It's not possible to live as you say we should live. There's the kids, work, and everything else........... My friends........Jesus died for you. He loves you. How does it make Him feel when you put the things of this world before Him? Why would God command us to pray without ceasing if it was impossible? Consider your life and your relationship with God. Is it fruitful? If you stood before God in the next second would you be proud of the work you did for the Kingdom or would you hang your head in shame? These are questions we all need to ask ourselves daily for someday we will all give an account of our actions upon this earth. But you can let the Father in....right now. And if you are already saved but need to renew your relationship, do the same. God never stopped loving you. You just stopped hearing His voice. Rev. Jerry
